This bull was my company when I when I had to stop in the heat for a rest as I cycled between jobs yesterday .
I would have enjoyed a sip of his water but in the several minutes that I spent watching he didn't raise his head once to offer me a drop. He appeared to be a permanent fixture at the water trough.
As I prepare to make the same journeys today I step out on the balcony and am relieved to find a cloudy, cool morning, so at least for one journey I may remain cool. If not I may be tempted this time to shove that bull out of the way at the drinking trough!
